In Praise of the Waves (1) - Translated by Liu Yuxi
Translation:
The waves wash away the sand,
Leaving behind strands of white hair,
Grieving over flowers that have fallen,
Envying birds flying in the blue sky above.
Such feelings are understood only by a few,
How many can express them in words?
With a heart like a qin and courage like a sword,
A true gentleman dances with the breeze of spring on his pen.
In this life, we should not dwell on sorrows,
In the next life, we will surely reunite.
