电子竞技就是电子游戏比赛达到“竞技”层面的活动，通用英文名称是 Electronic Sports。
一、听力全国大学生英语竞赛初、决赛试题听力部分共 30小题，计 30分，内容共分为四部分，分别是短对话、长对话、新闻以及听写填空。听力测试的基本要求是：能听懂句子结构及内容比较简单、基本没有生词、语速为每分钟约 150个单词的录音材料，掌握其大意，抓住要点和有关细节，领会讲话者的观点和态度。其目的是考查考生获取口头信息的能力。对话部分为日常生活中的一般对话，句子结构和内容不太复杂；新闻的材料主要选自大家熟悉的时事新闻报道、短评或讲话等；听写填空为一般题材的小型讲座、讲话、叙述等。（一）短对话【题型解读】听力部分中的短对话共 5小题，每小题1分，共计 5分。听力短对话在一男一女之间进行。对话完成后，由第三者根据对话内容提出问题，并要求考生根据对话的内容在四个选项中挑选出最佳答案。本题主要考查考生的英语口语能力，除了语言因素之外，最重要的是谈话双方的技巧。一般来说，在两个人的谈话中，第二个人的讲话或回答往往是命题的考点。我们可以根据第二个人对第一个人讲话的态度及反应方式来判断答案。常见的考点有：获取数字信息与计算的情况，包括时间、价格、数量、号码等；获取地点与去向；判断说话者的关系、职业或身份；提供帮助与回应请求；说话人对某人或某事的看法或情绪上的反应；判断事情发生的原因与结果；计划与行动，往往涉及说话人或对话中提及的其他人的计划与行动；内涵与推测，对话双方在对话中表达的意思等。【答题策略】做听力短对话题时要注意以下几点：注意对话的环境和交流的信息；弄清楚对话者的意图；把握提问内容；善于预测问题；排除干扰因素。具体答题步骤如下：1. 首先略读问题及选项2. 划一下关键词3. 心中明确四个选项的根本区别4. 听音时注意关键词5. 锁定目标，毫不犹豫地写下选项6. 立即浏览下一问题（二）长对话【题型解读】这部分包括两篇长对话，内容均较长，一般每篇在10~20 句之间，词数在120~250 词之间，一般情况下每篇对话后有5道问题，共10小题，总计10分。与短对话相比，长对话涉及的内容更深入，对话人的态度、语气、情感变化更复杂，一般不能简单依赖某个关键词来判断整篇对话的含义。因此，同学们既要注意听力材料中的细节，又要注意对对话整体的把握。长对话题对于同学们的短时记忆能力有相当高的要求。长对话的提问既包含短对话中对有关建议请求、关键场景等的考查，又有长段对话中对文章层次和理解能力的考查。每段长对话都有一个中心议题，对话双方都是围绕该中心而展开谈话的。另外，由于长对话的对话较多，因此场景就显得格外重要。准确判断对话场景将有助于考生把握对话的中心思想。【答题策略】对于长对话而言，做出正确选择的关键就是把握住对话的中心思想。在听音之前，同学们应该抓紧时间浏览题目，通过题目去预判对话讲的是哪方面的话题，这样有助于用最短的时间先把握对话的中心内容，从而将精力放在对话的具体细节上，比如要关注人物身份或职业、讨论的问题、时间、地点等细节内容，这样才能做到“捡了芝麻，不丢西瓜”。（三）新闻【题型解读】这部分主要考查考生获取特定信息的能力，包括5篇短新闻，每篇短新闻后有一道选择题，共5道，总计5分。新闻只读一遍，要求同学们听过后就问题从选项中选择一个正确答案。问题的设计可能针对新闻的主题思想、主要细节（如时间、数字、地点、人物、目的、原因、结果等）。其题材包括：教育、时事、科技、健康、体育、文化、社会、旅游等。因此，需要考生熟悉国际性的热门话题或重要事件，同时，要求考生熟悉某些新闻话题、时事的背景等。【答题策略】同学们平时要多关注国内外的大事，经常收听英语新闻，如VOA、BBC、CNN 等, 尽量扩大自己的知识面, 增加信息储备。有时, 一些国内外的新闻报道，或者大家关注的事件都可能成为听力考试的素材。在根据选择项预测的基础上，尽可能听懂新闻的第一句，即新闻导语，以便领会新闻主题，把握全文要点，抓住与答案相关的有用信息，其中包括重要事件、时间、地点、人物、原因和方式等新闻要素。本部分虽然有5则新闻，但每则新闻的篇幅都不会长，且每条新闻只设一题，难度并不是很大，同学们可边听边看选项，即“听到什么选什么”。因为短篇新闻理解的问题与选项设计主要指向一些相对较为重要的细节，答题时只要听到某选项与某个片段内容一致，即可进行选择。对于推测型的试题，要积极捕捉主要信息或细节，推测时做到有据可依。（四）听写填空【题型解读】听写填空题共分为两个部分：第一部分为Dictation，即听写，要求考生根据听力材料将所听到的词或短语直接填写在空格内，这部分试题主要考查考生听辨单词及单词拼写能力；第二部分为 Summary，即短文大意填空，要求考生根据所听材料用合适的词或短语完成短文大意填空，这部分试题主要考查考生对听力材料的理解及再加工的能力。本部分赛题的听力语速为每分钟150词，各类赛题只播放一遍，请考生们注意。【答题策略】先浏览全文，熟悉文中的人名、地名及一些生僻的词语，了解其大意，并特别注意空格前后的词语，把握它们之间的意义关系和搭配关系，听写时结合句意和常识准确听出所缺词语。如所缺词语写不完整或听不懂就立刻放弃，不要耽误下一空格内容的听写，以免造成听力失败的连锁反应。听写时如果时间来不及，可以用符号或字母代替填写的内容，整理答案时再将词语补充完整。二、阅读阅读理解部分是全国大学生英语竞赛的分数大项，共 30分。阅读文章的题材通常是社会生活、经济、教育、文化、科普等方面的内容，体裁为议论文、说明文、叙述文、描述文。阅读理解的文章涉及的词汇丰富，语法全面，内容广泛，是考查考生阅读速度、词汇量、语法知识及其分析、判断、推测、归纳和总结能力的重要手段阅读能力包括较快的阅读速度和较强的理解能力。所谓“较强的理解能力”是指应具有：1. 掌握所读材料主旨和大意的能力。2. 了解说明主旨和大意的事实和细节的能力。3. 既能理解字面的意思，又能根据所读材料进行一定的判断和推理的能力。4. 既理解个别句子的意思，又能理解上下文的逻辑关系的能力。阅读速度是阅读最基本的能力,没有一定的阅读速度,就不能顺利地获取信息，更谈不上提高阅读理解能力。许多考生在做阅读理解题时都有超时的现象，这说明考生的阅读速度与考试要求还有一定的差距。而且，许多考生没有养成良好的阅读习惯，在平时的阅读中仍沿袭初学英语时的阅读方法，即我们常见的出声朗读或不出声朗读。这两种阅读方法极不适合大学生英语竞赛中大题量且要求阅读速度快的阅读理解部分。除了上面提到的阅读速度和方法问题之外，还有其他一些消极因素影响考生的应试效率:语言障碍。主要表现在词汇量小、语法概念不清楚、语意理解能力差等几个方面，其中尤其是以词汇量小为主。由于考生平时词汇积累不够，在阅读过程中往往被生词所阻，无法更好地理解文章，从而在阅读时把注意力放在局部而不是整体上。许多考生阅读时把精力放在字词句上，而忽略了对整篇文章的理解和记忆，阅读方法与答题步骤欠妥。许多考生在做阅读理解题时，拿来就读，而且逐字逐句地研读，不讲究一定的方法、步骤；知识面狭窄,文理科知识互渗不够。参加竞赛的考生，由于所学专业的限制，文理知识不能相融。考生在兴趣和爱好上的不同也会导致他们的阅读方向的不同，因此，阅读材料中一旦涉及他们不熟悉的内容，就会不知所措，严重影响阅读效果。在此，我们结合全国大学生英语竞赛的部分试题，分析阅读理解题的题型和答题策略。【题型解读】阅读理解部分较去年去掉了一个篇章，同时去掉了段落匹配题型，请同学们注意。最新题型共3篇文章，设题全部为非选择题型，题型有：1.表格填空题，即根据文章内容，选取关键词汇完成表格填空；2.简答题，即根据文章内容回答问题；3.完成摘要题，即从文章中选出词或短语填空，答案基本上都是文章中出现过的词，根据语境可改变词的形式。（一）表格填空本部分阅读主要考查泛读的能力。首先应通读全文，理解文章大意，然后查看题目，了解题目所考查的是哪些信息点，再根据记忆在篇章中查找确切的信息和答案。（二）简答题不同类型的问题要求有不同形式的回答，不能仅仅为了答案的简洁而忽略了问题与答案在形式上的对应。比如，就目的进行提问时，答案就应当用表示目的的用语，如 for短语，不定式短语；就原因进行提问时，就应当用 because of短语或because从句回答；提问词是 what时，只能用名词或名词性短语、名词性从句来回答。尽可能利用原文中的关键词语回答问题。总之，简答题基于理解，重在表达，简答题的答案要精炼概括，言简意赅，力争体现“简”与“准”。（三）完成摘要首先要阅读原文，抓住表达文章主旨大意的关键词或中心句。对于一些关键的句子，可以边读边在下面画线标出，便于做题时查找。另外，对原文的各个段落的大意也要做到心中有数。做题时，涉及某一部分的内容时，就可以迅速地到原文的相关段落中查找。三、大作文全国大学生英语竞赛中的写作赛题主要是为了考查同学们的英语综合运用能力，其基本要求为：表达清楚、意义连贯、语言规范。作文赛题总分为30分，占竞赛题的比重为20%。写作赛题共分为两个部分，即应用文写作与一般性写作。【题型解读】一般性写作词数要求不少于140，计20分。一般性写作不提供提纲也不给出段落的开始句，但会陈述一个事实，提供一份广告、一个图表或一个图片，要求同学们据此写出一篇作文。虽然叫做“一般性写作”，但其实一点也不“一般”，此题主要考查同学们的思辨能力及英语表达能力，即对所提出的问题、现象等进行分析，并给出结论。【答题策略】一般性写作要注意以下几点：◆明确题意：对于20分的大作文，一定要花2分钟读懂题意并明确写作方向，一旦题意偏颇，则有可能万劫不复。◆观点鲜明：题目可能会要求对于一件事情的两个方面进行阐述，但作为写作人，一定要尽早亮出自己的观点，然后再围绕观点进行阐述。◆有理有据：一般性写作多数为议论文体，在论述过程中，一定要用有力的证据或数据来作为论据支持观点，既不能一味的论述而不提供论据，也不能只是罗列各种例子来凑字数。◆语言组织：写作一定是要用书面语的，所以在写作当中，需要尽量避免使用口语化和非正式词汇。在描述客观数据及事物时，尽可能使用被动语态及静态等客观表达方式，少用主观性比较强的词汇和句式。四、完型填空完形填空题的难度与语法、词汇、阅读和写作都有着千丝万缕的联系。完形填空题综合了词汇、结构以及阅读理解部分的测试内容。它不仅考查大家在词汇和句子水平上运用语言的能力，同时还考查同学们在语篇上综合运用语言的能力。完形填空题所涉及的语言知识面广、综合性强、灵活度大，具有一定的难度。完形填空试题考查趋势由局部理解向整体理解转移：1. 设问角度突出考查对整句话或对上下文乃至全篇的理解；2. 增加了语篇理解的试题。不再单纯考查基础语法知识，而是更多地考查文句之间的关联和行文逻辑的推理。完形填空试题命题原则是“以实词为主，虚词为辅，突出词汇语境化”，体现“突出全篇”的命题思想。考查目标成梯度分层，由“点”的考查到“线”的考查，即考查我们对文段语境的理解能力，再到“面”的考查，即考查大家对文章内容进行逻辑分析和推理判断的能力。这就要求我们把握上下文、上下段内在关联和连贯意义的理解，只有在做好了“点”、“线”的基础上才能做好“面”的题。【题型解读】完形填空题的考查形式多样，而全国大学生英语竞赛中完形填空题的题型为主观形式，一篇试题里包含了三种考查形式：根据所给出词首字母或字母组补全单词用所给出单词的适当形式填空根据上下文理解自由选择适当的单词填空全国大学生英语竞赛完形填空部分设10个空，每空1分，共计10 分。【答题策略】做完形填空题可遵循以下几个步骤：1. 先通读一遍全文，抓住文章的大意或称中心思想———这一思想一般包含在由段首主题句、段尾结束语以及各种重复出现的词语交织而成的信息网之中。对于那些与上下文关系很小的句内题，如大多数语法和一些词汇搭配题，可边读边填。2. 读第二遍，主要目的是将所有题目全部填完，对于需要推敲的单词，一定要紧密联系上下文，找与之联系的词语搭配，从多方面仔细推敲，还应该充分考虑上下文的语境、时态。对于不确定的空，应划线做标记。3.在完成所有填空后，如果用时不多，应再回头对不确定的空进行针对性检查，若用时已经过多，建议继续做题，待全部完成后再回头推敲。五、翻译【题型解读】翻译部分共分为两部分：一是英译汉，要求考生将一般难度的短文翻译成汉语，共 5分。英译汉的短文主要涉及一些人文或科学话题，有些是和考生的生活密切相关的，翻译的考点主要集中在长句和习惯用法上，要求考生不仅要有较好的阅读能力，而且还要有扎实的汉语基础以及中英文转换能力，对译文理解基本正确，译文达意。二是汉译英，在一篇汉语短文中，下划线划出 5个单句，每句 2分，共 10分。要求考生用给出的句型或词组翻译句子，考查语法结构和词组运用知识。六、改错【题型解读】短文改错题总分10 分，要求同学们在一篇200~250词的短文中找出9 处错误（每行不超过一处错误，只有一行没有错误），并根据上下文在错误的地方增、删、改正、替换某一个词或词组，使短文语意连贯，结构正确。短文改错题主要测试同学们的英语综合理解与表达能力。它不但要求大家有扎实的语言基础知识（如词汇、语法等），而且要求我们有较强的语篇理解能力与表达能力，以及利用上下文进行逻辑推理的能力。短文改错题的内容比较广泛，无论是语法、词汇、篇章理解、逻辑判断等都可能成为改错的对象；与完形填空及词汇题相比，后者有明确的目标与给定的选项，而改错题右边虽有标志行，却仍需我们去捕捉错误，并纠正过来，给出正确的形式，这些都为短文改错题增加了难度。【答题策略】要想从根本上提高做短文改错题的能力，就要打好扎实的英语基础，有丰富的词汇用法、固定搭配及句式结构知识等。同时，在平日英语学习的过程中，要多多阅读，培养英语的语感，提高语篇理解能力，增强自己辨错、纠错的能力。【答题策略】考生在平时的学习中应加强词汇积累，掌握必要的翻译技巧，利用适当的方法进行翻译。首先，要增加词汇积累，关注专用名词、专业术语和习惯用语。对于这些专用名词、专业术语和习惯用语的理解将直接关系到对文章的理解和翻译句子的准确性，因此考生在平时的学习中应加强这方面的积累。要多读英文报纸、杂志，关注新闻和最新科技动向，掌握相关词汇，为做好英译汉题打好基础。其次，掌握必要的翻译技巧，采用适当的翻译方法进行翻译。英译汉试题要求考生在准确理解英语的基础上，完整、通顺地进行由英语向汉语的转换，因此考生需要掌握必要的翻译技巧，采用适当的翻译方法进行翻译，例如增词法、减词法、词类转换法、分译法、合译法等。要想译好英译汉句子，需要在理解的基础上，适时使用各种翻译技巧，这样可以使译出的句子更加完整、生动。再经过反复推敲，既能保证译文的准确、完整，又能保证其通顺，合乎汉语表达方式。要想译好汉译英句子，就需要注意选择最地道的用词，避免中国式的翻译；翻译完后，审查核对是否有漏译和赘述，句子语法是否正确，然后再加以润色。七、智力测试智力测试题不仅考查智力和逻辑思维能力，还考查阅读理解、语言知识及语言运用能力，只要八、词汇

诗歌朗诵大赛复赛——选手各有千秋新闻稿件作者：XXX文章来源单位：XXX日期：XXX年XXX月XXX日星期X X月X日晚在安财东校5栋106教室，由安财文学社主办的背景音乐诗歌朗诵大赛复赛按时拉开了帷幕，这是由安财文学社举办的第六届在安财最大规模的朗诵大赛！ 诗歌体现着中国文化博大精深！从古至今，朗诵诗歌都是国人的最爱！它可以带你走进诗人的心田，去寻找我们心中最细腻最真挚感情;它也可以把你融进如诗如画如陶潜笔下的桃花源般的意境之中去；它更可以用极具感染力的声音让你重温一段历史，重温一份感动..... 为弘扬中国文化，丰富同学们的大学生活，安财文学社连续六年举办背景音乐朗诵大赛。今年4月1日晚六点半，进入复赛的选手大约都到了比赛现场，在我们工作人员的指引下，抽的了自己的号码，登记好自己的信息，拷好自己的音乐之后，迅速进入了紧张的备战状态！他们略由紧张的神情背后更多的是胸有成竹，更多的是一份坦然;我们的工作人员面带微笑，尽量满足选手的要求，在各自的工作范围内认真的工作;社长更是热情大方，给选手以笑容，给干事以帮助！就这样，准备工作有条不紊的进行着！终于那一刻到来了，晚7点时，主持人走上台，首先介绍到场的评委，然后宣布背景音乐诗歌朗诵大赛复赛正式开始！选手可谓各有千秋，难分上下！选手们的诗歌主题也时包罗万象，但大致可以分为三个风格：有以《别了，北川》和《祖国，我亲爱的祖国》为代表的带有强烈爱国情怀的诗歌，其朗诵的慷慨激昂可谓荡气回肠；有以《雨巷》和《江南雨》为代表的含着朦胧水汽的诗歌，其朗诵的古典柔美可谓撩人心悬：有以《你是人间的四月天》和《致橡树》为代表的伴着微风阳光的诗歌，其朗诵的清新甜美可谓暖人心田！我们就这样随着选手们领悟着这千百种感情..... 选手的精彩朗诵，评委的认真负责，干事的热情公正，社长的尽心尽力，主持的竭尽全力使得大赛进行的异常顺利。即便到了大赛的尾声，在场人数慢慢减少，却不见掌声趋弱，这应该是对我们活动最大的支持和鼓励！ 终于大赛随着最后一位选手成绩的公布而结束了，主持人代表文学社所有工作人员感谢评委、选手和同学的带来，背景诗歌朗诵大赛复赛圆满结束！

今天，我们在老师的指导下进行了一次诵读古诗的比赛。比赛之前，我们所有参加比赛的同学照了一张合影。我们开始抽签确定比赛的先后顺序，一共有九人参加比赛，我抽的是第六号。这次比赛，老师要求我们每人上台背诵两首古诗，老师还说：“赛前要好好复习。”我按老师的要求先选定了两首古诗，我选的两首唐诗的题目都叫“咏风”，一首是王勃写的，另一首是虞世南写的。选好诵读的古诗以后我认真地进行了复习，并且试背了几遍。比赛开始了，第一个上场的是陈聪，他走上讲台，背诵了《千字文》之一和之二。大家都听得很认真。马上就该我上台了，我的心里很紧张。我走上讲台，先给大家作了自我介绍：“我叫刘搏，是三（2）班的学生，我今天给大家背诵两首《咏风》……”我背完了就回到了自己的座位上坐好，继续听别人的比赛。我对自己的表现比较满意。比赛结束后，我们开始进行评比。我们每人写出二个一等奖，二个二等奖，五个三等奖的名单交给老师。老师统计以后马上就公布了比赛结果。姜恩俊、陈灿获得了一等奖，我获得了三等奖。这次诵读比赛，老师给了我一次锻炼的好机会。虽然我只得了一个三等奖，但是我一点也不灰心，下次我一定要得一等奖。

2008 is a special year for Beijing for the Olympic Games. It is a special year for me too. I watched 8 games. The Olympic Games let me know, for all of the people in the world, we are family. In the 16 days, I saw different people from different countries. I heard different languages in the world. I sat next to English, American, Canadian and Korean when watching hockey games. I shouted “Go! Go! Go!” with Argentinian and Serbian when watching football match. In the Olympic Park, Australian friends shared their small gifts with Russian, German, French and Chinese. Everybody from different countries smiled at each other. Everybody was friendly to each other in these 16 days.
This is Olympic. It brings friendship, it brings peace.
I will remember the Beijing Olympic Games in my life.
In 2008, I understand, we are living in earth village.

I think the most unbelievable news in the last century is we are genetically the same. Do you feel a little excited, nowI did, when I first time heard it from the radio. And suddenly realized that we are born to be the same. This eye-catching news approved what we called “global village”, and then told us we are born with a “global citizenship” just like with the character.
However, same to the character, global citizenship is not only accepted by oneself ,but also by others. As traditional Chinese saying goes, “thousands of miles should begin at first step”. Only if we have a good beginning at home — step first we firmly stepped, it would be easy for other global citizens to admit us .
But you may feel a little bored to listen to my lecture and ask “what do you really want us to know”
So let’s pay attention to our motherland. China has set us good examples to favor the title “global citizenship begins at home”. More than a hundred years ago, when the old Chinese government limited economic growth and lock his doors against the world. He missed the best opportunity to develop himself. I'm grateful that I've been given this opportunity, at such a historic moment, to stand here as a spokesman of my generation and to take a serious look back at the past 15 years, a crucial period for every one of us and for this nation as well.
Though it is only within my power to tell about my personal experience, and only a tiny fragment of it at that, it still represents, I believe, the root of a spirit which has been essential to me and to all the people bred by the past 15 years.
In my elementary years, there was a little girl in the class who worked very hard but somehow could never do satisfactorily in her lessons.
The teacher asked me to help her, and it was obvious that she expected a lot from me. but as a young boy, restless, thoughtless, I always tried to evade her so as to get more time to enjoy myself.
One day before the final exam, she came up to me and said, "Could you please explain this to me? I want very much to do better this time. " I started explaining, and finished in a hurry. Pretending not to notice her still confused eyes, I ran off quickly. Nat surprisingly, she again did very badly in the exam. And two months later, at the beginning of the new semester, word came of her death of blood cancer. No one ever knew about the little task I failed to fulfill, but I couldn't forgive myself. I simply couldn't forget her eyes, which seem to be asking, "Why didn't you do a little more to help me, when it was so easy for you? Why didn't you understand a little better the trust placed in you, so that I would not have to leave this world in such pain and regret?"
I was about eight or nine years old at that time, but in a way it was the very starting point of my life, for I began to understand the word "responsibility" and to learn to always do my duties faithfully and devotedly, for the implications of that sacred word has dawned on me: the mutual need and trust of people, the co-operation and inter-reliance which are the very foundation of human society.
Later in my life, I continued to experience many failures. But never again did I feel that regret which struck me at the death of the girl, for it makes my heart satisfied to think that I have always done everything in my power to fulfill my responsibilities as best I can.
As I grew up, changed and improved by this incident and many other similar ones, I began to perceive the changes taking place around me and to find that society, in a way, was in its formative years like myself. New buildings, new commodities and new fashions appear every day.
New ideas, new information, new technologies. People can talk with each other from any corner of the earth in a matter of seconds. Society is becoming more competitive.
Words like individuality and creativity are getting more emphasis and more people are rewarded for their hard work and efforts. Such is the era in which this generation ,grows and matures.
Such is the era in which this generation will take over the nation from our fathers and learn to run it. Yet in the meantime, many problems still exist.
We learn that crimes take place in broad daylight with crowds of people looking on and not assisting. We hear that there are still about 1 million children in this country who can't even afford to go to elementary schools while enormous sums of money are being squandered away on dinner parties and luxury cars.
We buy shoddy medicines, or merely worthless junk in the name of medicines, that aggravate, rather than alleviate our diseases since money, many people believe, is the most important thing in the world that must be made, even at the expense of morality and responsibility.
Such an era, therefore, determines that we are a generation with a keener sense of competition and efficiency and a greater readiness to think critically and act creatively.
Such an era, furthermore, demands, that we are a generation with a clear perception of our historical responsibility and an aggressive will to take action and solve the problems. History has long been preparing these qualities in this generation and it is now calling us forward to give testimony to our patriotism and heroism towards this nation and all humanity.
Standing here now, I think of the past 15 years of my life as an ordinary student. Probably I'll be an ordinary man for the rest of my life. But this doesn't discourage me any, for I know that with my sense of responsibility and devoted efforts to always strive, for the best, it's going to be a meaningful and worthwhile life that I will be living.
Standing here now, I think of the past 15 years of this nation, which has achieved greatness that inspired millions of people of my age, most of whom will not attain fame or prestige and only a few of whom will be remembered by posterity.
